Подметальная машина с бензиновым двигателем обладает неограниченной возможностью автономной работы: достаточно подливать топливо в бак по мере его расходования – и машина готова работать в режиме нон-стоп. Модель Comet SWL 700 ST оснащена двумя типами щёток: центральной цилиндрической, которая вращается параллельно полу в противоположную сторону по направлению движения машины и собирает мусор в мусоросборник, и боковой дисковой щёткой, расположенной под углом к поверхности и идеально заметающей грязь вдоль бордюров и под выступами. Система всасывания расположена в рабочей зоне центральной щётки и вместе с её механическим действием собирает пыль и грязь в мусоросборник, пропуская мусор через панельный фильтр.
